Youth Livelihoods

Purpose

Increase employability skills of unemployed and disadvantaged youth

Why We Partnered

This project complements the Moroccan government’s strategy to address youth unemployment. Through this partnership, EFE-Maroc provides employment training to 3,000 unemployed university graduates, 80 percent of whom will be placed in career-building jobs. Training curricula is based on market demand. To extend its reach, EFE is also delivering an abridged version of its employability curriculum that will serve a larger and more diverse segment of 12,500 youth within youth centres and universities. Using web portals and social media tools, EFE-Maroc will build a more robust alumni network that further promotes mentorship and civic engagement.
