International Youth Foundation

Youth Livelihoods

Purpose

Provide youth with skills and access to networks needed for employment or self-employment

Why We Partnered

This project will expand on our work with International Youth Foundation (IYF) from Egypt into Tanzania and Mozambique, where efforts will focus on improving training, wraparound services, and employment and enterprise opportunities for 30,000 economically disadvantaged, urban young people. Through IYF’s proven Passport to Success® (PTS) curriculum, youth will develop life skills essential for any job. Via will strengthen the capacity of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) institutions and entrepreneurship partners by improving their training content and delivery, including use of PTS. The initiative also will deepen private sector engagement and strengthen links with key stakeholders in the youth livelihoods ecosystem.
