Youth Livelihoods

Purpose

Increase understanding of young people’s workforce needs and deepen the impact of Youth Livelihoods partners

The MasterCard Foundation has partnered with Overseas Development Institute (ODI) as a learning partner for the Foundation’s Youth Livelihoods Consortia, specifically in Ghana and Uganda. ODI will maintain a knowledge management system that consolidates data about successful approaches to youth employment in the two countries. From this data, ODI will produce reports and papers and hold convenings and workshops to share learning with both implementing partners and the broader field of practitioners, policymakers and funders who are engaged in issues of youth employment and entrepreneurship.
