Carmen is responsible for reviewing and processing monthly expense reports. Before joining the Foundation, Carmen worked with HUB International Ltd, where she was a Staff Accountant/Financial Analyst. Carmen was responsible for maintaining and monitoring permanent records and files for general ledger accounts. In addition, she proposed recommendations for process improvement of standardized reporting, policies and procedures to support efficiency and effectiveness of day-to-day activities, along with training others in new processes. Carmen has an Honours, Bachelor of Commerce with a focus on Accounting and Finance from the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University and is working towards her Chartered Professional Accountant designation.
