Laurie works with secondary education and African university partners, and with learning partners in the Foundation’s Education and Learning program. She also leads communication strategy and branding for the MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program. Laurie has more than 25 years’ experience in marketing and communications in the pharmaceutical industry in a variety of roles within marketing research, product management and communications.  She established the launch platform for 12 different pharmaceutical brands, introduced psychographic segmentation, co-developed a global corporate brand and redesigned the global reputation measurement metrics and process.
