Testing the Waters: YouthSave Pilot Results from Three Markets

The YouthSave consortium has just released Testing the Waters: YouthSave Pilot Results from Three Markets – a preliminary report on its experiences piloting youth savings services in Ghana, Kenya, and Nepal.  The report provides a preview of the challenges and opportunities involved in reaching young clients.  Young people are eager to save in formal financial institutions – but bringing greater access requires intensive and segment-specific outreach.  These preliminary learnings will inform the large-scale roll-out of products in the coming years.
