Young people represent the world’s future workforce – innovators, entrepreneurs, educators, scientists, and leaders. Over 3 billion people – nearly half of the world’s population – are under the age of 25. Almost 90 percent of all young people live in developing countries. To realize their full potential, millions need access to quality and relevant education.

The Foundation defines the term education as learning that takes place in a variety of settings, in and outside of the formal school system. Our goal is to enable young people to make the school-to-work transition successfully. This encompasses access to learning opportunities, skill development, networks, technology, and connecting young people to sustainable employment in order to succeed in the global economy.
