Support 120 academically talented, yet financially disadvantaged students in completing their university education, while fostering their leadership skills and their capacity to give back to their communities. Forty Scholars will come from Africa and 80 from Latin America and the Caribbean.

Provide comprehensive scholarships for 125 economically disadvantaged, yet academically talented students to enable them to complete their university education.

Amount: $39.0 million
Countries: Pan - African
Support 125 Mastercard Foundation Scholars (95 from Africa and 30 from Latin America and the Caribbean) at the undergraduate level, with a focus on entrepreneurship and transformative leadership in agriculture.
Pilot a flagship post-graduation Fellowship Program to enable Scholar alumni to transition into targeted careers in the agricultural sector and develop online resources for the Scholars Community to pursue agribusiness projects.
